Mr. Cantor concentrates his practice in representing catastrophically injured victims and their families in cases involving fire and explosion, defective products, workplace safety and medical malpractice.

Mr. Cantor has practiced at Swartz & Swartz since 1978.  He has been the firm’s Managing Attorney since 1988.  While his practice is centralized in Massachusetts and the other New England states, Mr. Cantor has been involved in litigation and trial in more than 30 states.  He has participated in litigation or trial of more than 50 cases involving million dollar recoveries.

Mr. Cantor has been named as a "Superlawyer" by Boston Magazine in the area of Plaintiff's Personal Injury for every year since the series started in 2004.  Only 5% of the lawyers in Massachusetts are named as "Superlawyers."  He currently devotes much of his time to sophisticated litigation against major utilities and manufacturers of consumer and industrial producers.  He also served on the plaintiffs’ steering committee in the 550 sexual abuse cases against the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston which settled for a record $85 Million in 2003.  In the last few years he has participated in preparation, trial and appeal of three separate cases in which results in excess of $10 million have been achieved for his clients.
