A car accident occurred in Norton Massachusetts shortly before midnight on May 19 when 32-year-old David Boulter claimed that he fell asleep at the wheel as he was driving on Old Colony Road.

His car crossed over the center line and crashed into a car being driven in the opposite direction. The female victim, a passenger in the other car, was six months pregnant and suffered a miscarriage following the incident. The Taunton man is now facing motor vehicle homicide charges as a result.
The crash led to the hospitalization of four people. Alcohol was not involved, however, David Boulter is being charged with negligence behind the wheel.
